Leadership

 

Yr 8 Kauaeranga valley christan camp

                                                                     Yr 8 camp  @ Kvcc

Last week on Wednesday most year 8’s went to a camp for leadership. It was so fun because there were heaps of activities and 4 different groups and each group had a colour. 

The four groups were.

Kauaeranga was green 

Kauri was blue

Coromandel was red

The Thames was yellow.

 

My group was coromandel 

On the first day we all headed to the gym for our first activities and it was team games. All 4 teams had a corner each. There were 5  games in total  in the gym. After that we had afternoon tea then we headed to our first activity. My group did archery first. It was very cool because that was my first time trying archery and shooting and using a bow and arrow and we got 5 shots on each turn. My favourite activity was go karts because on my first try on go karts i was scared to go because i had to drive it by myself on my after my first try i was so dizzy and after my first try i wanted to keep going because it was really fun and that was my favourite activity.

My least favourite activity was most likely paint ball because i didn't know how to shoot the paint ball out of the sling shot.

                      The sun is actually not a circle, it is a natural star most people think. There are 8 planets in our solar system because pluto is no longer a planet. No one can stand on Uranus because it's a gas planet. All planets orbit around the solar system with the sun.The moon rotates with earth.
